Apply to Join the Fiction and Screenwriting Group of Columbia, Maryland
We occasionally have openings in our group and you are welcome to apply for membership. We look for committed writers who been writing for a few years. It is not necessary that you are published, but we do appreciate seasoned writers who recognize that most of us cannot write in a bubble and appreciate good feedback.
We ask that our members work well on a deadline and are able to provide positive and thoughtful critiques.
More of our writers focus on fiction, but some write screenplays. A lot of us write young adult, science fiction, and fantasy. You are not required to write a certain style, just be willing to critique all of this.

Include in your email:
An introduction - a little bit about yourself. For instance you may want to include if you've participated in a critique group, been published etc.
(It isn't necessary to have been published but we like to know you've been writing.)
If you write fiction, submit 20 double spaced pages of your work. It will need to be two different stories.
For screenwriters, submit 40 pages of two different screenplay.
